FrankoFilm , the amateur French short film festival … in Zielona Góra

This year in may, the 14th edition of Franko Film an amateur short film festival in French took place in Zielona Góra. The festival have been taking place in this city for the last 14 years, making Zielona Góra for a couple of days a cultural center of French culture.

Laurent Vavon, a french-man living in this city, and teaching the French language in UZG , launched this initiative to get students engaged with the French language, 14 years later, the event attracts enthusiasts from all over Poland and from some neighboring countries.

It is getting noticed by French Media

This year the festival got it’s first international media coverage, with TV5 MONDE taking notice and deciding to shoot a small documentary about the event.
