Lubuskie Awards Scholarship To Young Talent
On February 13, 2025, in the Lubuskie Museum in Zielona Góra, Marshal Marcin Jabłoński awarded scientific, creative, and artistic scholarships, along with motivational scholarships for university students. He emphasized the importance of recognizing young talent, ensuring they feel valued for their dedication and achievements.
“We want young people to know that their success is not overlooked. Lubuskie is a great place to live, study, and grow. Our goal is to create an environment where students can develop their skills and find fulfilling career opportunities,” said Marshal Jabłoński.
Supporting Young Talent in Lubuskie
The event was attended by local government officials and university representatives, all united in their commitment to supporting the region’s youth. MP Krystyna Sibińska highlighted that these scholarships serve as an essential tool in overcoming challenges and fostering academic and creative growth.
Education authorities also encouraged students to pursue their studies in Lubuskie’s universities, emphasizing the quality education and career opportunities available in the region.
Scholarship Details
The Lubuskie Marshal’s scholarships were established to support outstanding students in their academic, creative, and artistic pursuits. Since 2004, 473 individuals have received financial support totaling over 1.1 million PLN.
- Scientific, Creative & Artistic Scholarships: 4,000 PLN per recipient (paid over six months). In 2025, 25 students received these scholarships.
- Motivational Scholarships for First-Year University Students: 9,000 PLN per recipient (paid over nine months). Since 2018, 150 students have benefited from this program, with 30 new recipients in 2024/2025.
The scholarships aim to encourage students to continue their education in Lubuskie, contribute to the region’s intellectual and economic growth, and inspire future generations.
